Thrift Store

Appalachia Reach Out's Thrift Store is open to all, Tuesday-Saturday 10am-3pm. We are located at 2596 Rockcastle Rd., Inez KY 41224.

The store is a vital part of our ministry, filling a niche in our community and generating revenue for other ministry activities. In our inventory we offer a variety of clothes, household goods, furniture, and various building supplies. God has blessed our store as a venue of ministry for many years. It provides a place for individuals from our community and other surrounding areas to shop and fellowship.

We gladly accept donations locally, as well as from our team partners - see below for what we do not accept, as well as donations that we love to see. We are grateful to have a number of partners who bring donations and loads of resources to our store from all over the US! It's through these connections that we are able to stock our store each month and continue to provide items at low prices. Come check us out! We'd love to meet you.

Food Pantry

The ARO Food Pantry is open every Wednesday from 10 am to 2 pm to Martin County residents. Residents can come once a month on whichever Wednesday they choose. When signing up, please provide a valid street address ("911 address") and bring proof of income. The food pantry operates with a shopping-like experience where choices can be made in each category to suit preferences and dietary needs.

We would like to thank God's Food Pantry, the Pallottine Foundation of Huntington, the Highlands Regional Foundation, People's Bank, several local organizations, and all the individual donors who supply the pantry with food for those we serve.
